According to the experts, if urgent measures are not taken, in a world where resources are limited and human wants are unlimited, climate change will accelerate the danger of severe food and water shortages.

12 billion tons of plastic waste in 2050
In a planet, where 1 to 5 trillion plastic bags are consumed each year, we may say that we are in the beginning of a plastic age that has taken over the cities, marine life and forests.
According to the United Nations Environment Programme Report, 12 billion tons of plastic bottle waste is expected in 2050. Plastic items which can take up to 1,000 years to decompose in nature, are leaking into every ecosystem: in our flora, fauna, and soil. Human and animal health is under severe threat.
And according to the same report, only 9 percent of plastic waste was recycled last year. And this data shows that we need to take much bigger steps…

Sustainability with recycled yarn production
We are aware of the importance that institutions as well as individuals should start taking serious measures in order to implement an urgent chain of solutions.
For this reason, as a result of our environmental awareness policy, we took action to make sustainable activities and we started to produce recycled yarn.
Our yarns, which are recycled from plastic, is just the beginning of our goals for sustainability and environmental protection.
In addition to all these, with our EkoTeks certificate (textile products that do not contain chemicals harmful to human health) and GOTS certificate (internationally recognized organic textile standard), we guarantee that the products we offer are environmentally and socially reliable.
